Rock Stars of the Snohomish Food and Bar Scene

From a four-napkin sandwich devoured at Christa’s Sandwichboard or the savory Clams Foster that I frequently recommend at Roger’s Riverview Bistro, to a perfectly concocted craft cocktail imagined by Bex Woolman, the Snohomish food and bar scene is starting to get some serious culinary street cred.
From classically trained chefs to cooks with no formal professional
experience, meet 7 culinary rock stars grilling, simmering, roasting,
and concocting delightful meals and beverages that are elevating the
food offerings found in SnoTown.

Economic Impacts to the Snohomish Wedding Industry due to COVID-19

Economic Impacts to the Snohomish Wedding Industry due to COVID-19

For the hundreds of couples that choose to get married in Snohomish each year, all of them rely on the hundreds of
professional industry businesses to make their special day a dream come true.
More than 30 farms and venues are available year-round for weddings and events, and the hundreds of associated
industry caterers, photographers, florists and event planners provide significant economic revenue to our
community.
Due to COVID-19, an international pandemic, Gov. Jay Inslee announced a State of Emergency on February 29th,
2020, and amended his proclamation to include the limit of gatherings on March 11th. An extension of his “Stay
Home, Stay Healthy” emergency order banned all gatherings and temporarily shuttered non-essential businesses
through May 4th and perhaps, beyond. With restrictions still in place, the Snohomish Wedding Industry is on the
verge of a break-up.
